The Short Answer
A small business website in Las Vegas costs anywhere from about $700 to $20,000+. Most local agencies quote $3,500 to $15,000 for a 5 to 15 page custom site.
The build price is only half the picture. Hosting, maintenance, and monthly plans can cost more than the site itself over a few years, so always ask what you'll pay after launch.
What Las Vegas web designers actually charge
Most web designers don't publish prices. These Las Vegas-area companies do, which makes them a useful benchmark. Figures are quoted from each company's own website as of October 2026.
| Company | Published price |
|---|---|
| Boxify Web Designs Squarespace sites | $699.99 for a single page; from $1,499.99 for 4–6 pages |
| Smartboost | From $3,500 for 5–7 pages; $5,500–$10,000 for 8–15 pages |
| Lounge Lizard | Custom sites "usually start between $5,000 and $15,000" |
| Starfire Web Design | Most business sites "between $7,500 and $15,000" |
| Vegas Website Designs | Recommends budgeting "at least $20,000" |
| Your Site Your Equity | $900 for 8 custom-coded pages, hosting included; larger sites quoted |
Prices change, and most companies quote each project individually. Check each company's site for current rates.
That's a spread of roughly 30 to 1 for what sounds like the same thing. The difference comes down to a handful of factors.
What drives the price
- ✓ Number of pages. Most local service businesses need 5 to 8: home, services, about, contact, and a few service or location pages. Pricing tiers usually jump at 8 and 15 pages.
- ✓ Template or custom. A template on Squarespace, Wix, or a WordPress theme is faster and cheaper to set up. A custom build is designed and coded for your business, which usually means a faster site and more control over search.
- ✓ Who writes the copy. Many quotes assume you supply the text. Professional copywriting is often billed separately.
- ✓ Features. Online stores, member logins, custom booking systems, and software integrations are where prices climb into five figures.
- ✓ Team size. An agency quote covers account managers, project managers, designers, and developers. One experienced person doing the whole job has far less overhead to pass on.
The cost after launch
This is the part most quotes leave out. A cheap build can turn expensive, and an expensive build can keep costing you every month.
- ✓ Website builders like Wix and Squarespace charge a plan fee for as long as the site is live — about $17 to $50 a month for a business plan, billed annually.
- ✓ WordPress needs managed hosting, usually $15 to $60 a month, plus plugin licenses and regular security updates.
- ✓ Agency care plans often add $50 to $200 a month for hosting and maintenance, and marketing retainers can run far higher.
Over three years, those monthly costs add $600 to $7,000 or more on top of the build. When you compare quotes, compare the three-year total, not the first invoice.
Where a $900 site fits — and what it doesn't include
I build 8-page custom-coded sites for $900, with hosting included. Here's why that's possible, and what you're not getting at that price.
Why it costs less: I'm one person, so there's no account team or office overhead built into the quote. The sites are plain HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, so there's no WordPress install to maintain and hosting costs me almost nothing, which is why I can include it. I write the copy myself from a short questionnaire about your business, and I don't outsource any of the work.
What it doesn't include:
- – A login to edit it yourself. There's no CMS. Small edits are free for the first 30 days; after that, I quote changes up front, or they're covered on the optional $175/month Growth Partner plan.
- – Online stores or custom software. If you need e-commerce, member accounts, or a web application, you need a bigger build than this.
- – More than 8 pages. Larger sites are quoted separately.
You own the code, there's no contract, and you can see a free preview of your homepage before you pay anything.
How to compare website quotes
Whoever you hire, ask every designer the same questions. The answers matter more than the headline price.
- How many pages are included, and what does each extra page cost?
- Is it a template or built for my business?
- Who writes the copy? Is that included?
- What do I pay every month after launch, and what happens if I stop paying?
- Who owns the site and the code? Can I move it to another host?
- Who does the work? Is any of it outsourced?
- How many revisions are included, and what do edits cost after launch?
- Can I see live sites you've built or a preview of mine before I pay?
